Who We Are

It might seem like we're a huge corporation with hundreds of employees but in reality we're not. You'll find that you've probably spoken to the same person on more than one occasion. Paul runs the show and makes it a point to do 90% of the customer service. Rob (the original founder and past owner) occasionally tags along to do the 'back end' web development. A few other folks fill in where necessary in order fulfillment, receiving, and book keeping.

We believe that our size gives a little humanity to our internet company, so we've kept it small for a reason.

How It Started

From 1999-2005 Rob, the company founder, was working for the BMW & Aprilia dealership in Pittsburgh, PA as a way to earn his way through college. With the dealership's closing in 2005, he wanted to stay involved with the BMW community and decided to start F800Riders.org.

The eCommerce side of started when Rob coordinated a group buy of mirror extenders for the F800 rider group. Soon afterward, it was expanded into F800Depot.com after the realization that most stores were ignoring the F800 all together, and the riders of this fabulous motorcycle deserved a store that catered just to them.

In 2008, the company expanded and started to directly import the Holan, Twalcom, and Wild@Heart brands into North America and in 2010, and was relocated from a leased location into a permanent location in Heildelberg, PA. In 2013, we started importing GlobeScout panniers into North America.

Our Mission

Our mission is clear - super-serve our customers with the best possible products at the best possible prices. This includes hot niche brands such as GlobeScout, Wild@Heart, and Twalcom, plus 'big' brands such as Hepco & Becker, SW-Motech, and GIVI.

Customer service is also extremely important to us.  Every inquiry - on the phone or via email - is logged into our issue tracking system to ensure that you receive a prompt, complete answer and that you are provided an opportunity to restart the conversation at any time without having to fill us in again.  We even offer real-time live chat, and SMS customer support to boot!
