Hepco & Becker Tank Guard/ Upper Crashbars (BMW R1200GS-LC '13+)
Hepco & Becker tank guards provide protection in case of an accident or fall. Custom designed for each bike to bolt on without drilling. All tank guards come with the required installation hardware and instructions. Please note that you can only install these if you have the Hepco & Becker engine guards as they are used as an attachment point.
The mounting points used by Hepco & Becker take it a step further and include the steering stem to ensure the tank guard is bolted down to the bike as much as possible. This enables the tank guard to act upon the strength of not only the lower engine guard but the bike's frame.
This is a new version of the Tank Guard from Hepco & Becker. This version no longer requires the Engine Guard to install, and can be mounted independently.
